Custody and support
Two homes, one plan the kids can count on
Children do best when both homes run on the same rules. A good parenting plan covers the weekly schedule, holidays, school, doctors and travel, and says what happens when plans change.
Child support is figured from both parents' incomes and the time each has the children. I run the numbers with you before you agree to anything.

How we build it
From a messy week to a written plan
- 01
Step 1: Tell me the week as it is
Who drives, who cooks, who's home when. The real schedule is where a good plan starts.
- 02
Step 2: Draft the schedule
Weekdays, weekends, holidays, summers and the handoffs, in language both parents can follow.
- 03
Step 3: Work out support
We run the court's formula with your real incomes and costs, so there are no surprises later.
- 04
Step 4: File it, or take it to a judge
If you agree, I file the plan for approval. If not, I speak for you at the hearing.
Questions parents ask me most
Can the plan change later?
Yes. Parents can agree on changes in writing, and a court can modify an order when circumstances change in a significant way. I'll tell you which route fits.
How is child support decided?
Courts use a formula built on both parents' incomes and the share of time each has the children, plus costs like child care and health insurance.
What if the other parent ignores the plan?
Keep a simple record of what happened and when, and call me before you respond. There are ways to enforce an order, and I'll explain which one fits.
Can my children choose where to live?
A judge listens to a child as far as age and maturity allow, but the decision belongs to the court. I'll explain how that works in yours.
